Ryan Tolboom is a University Lecturer in the Informatics department at NJIT.
Education: MS in computer science from NJIT.
Professional Background: Photonic and semiconductor research and academic professional. Worked as an educator and technology facilitator in the Monroe Township school system where he saw the transformative effect that technology can have in the classroom. Ryan maintains an active, contributing interest in many open source projects mostly related to Linux package management, DevOps automation, and distributed networking. He continues to help school districts extract their data, use data processing frameworks, and use visualization tools to provide insights that drive decision making.
