Dr. Ananya Dass is a Lecturer in the Computer Science department at NJIT.
Education: PhD in computer science from NJIT.
Professional Background: Currently works as a Data Architect for Bloomberg L.P in designing Bloomberg Vocabulary and Ontology using Linked Data technologies and Semantic Mediawiki Platform. She is interested and passionate about Semantic web technologies, data design, creation and maintenance following Linked data principle, designing algorithm for user friendly keyword search on Linked data and visualization. She worked with Girls’ Who Code and is a strong advocate for computer education for girls. At NJIT, she teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses on databases and programming using Python and MATLAB.
